I don't know how interested everyone is in our lives because let's face it... we (or may be I) am not that interested in our life right now.
In the past three months, here are the most interesting things that have happened to us:
1) Stephen is still managing at Copper Creek. He enjoys it somewhat, although I think many of the politics that come with managing a restaurant wear on him a bit.
2) I have almost completed all of my applications for my Child Life internship. I'm applying to Johns Hopkins Children's Center, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Cook Children's in Ft. Worth, Dallas Children's Medical Center, Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, and Texas Children's in Houston. Whew! The process has been completely overwhelming and spirit-breaking at times, but it's almost done. May 5 is the due date. I'll keep you posted on interviews and such...
3) I'm two chapters into my thesis. It looks like I'll be done in August and so I'll graduate in December after I complete my internship. All I have to say is... THESIS SUCKS.
4) The first week of March we had a BLIZZARD!! It was INSANE and we were trapped in the apartment for TWO DAYS.
5) We found out that we still have a strong distaste for Georgia. Even though combined we make below the poverty line, we still owe the State of Georgia $300 in state taxes. Additionally, I got the first ticket OF MY LIFE because of some stupid camera light. We are trying to move back to TX as fast as you can possibly imagine.
I'd love to say that other things are going on, but this is pretty much it. Unfortunately, until we know where I am going for my internship we are in a sort of holding pattern. This includes unending amounts of monotony and boredom. At least we have each other :)
